August 9th: Ehlswitha and Kjarten participated in the Danish Canadian National Museum's Folke Fest. We displayed a single Viking encampment and demonstrated several Viking bushcraft skills. Please click on the picture to the left for the album of this event.
August 30th: Dagaz-Inguz-Jera and a number of groups from Vikings Canada set up a small village at the Calgary Highland Games. The village provided a full day of Viking craft demonstrations (with the ability to buy many of the items), Viking bushcraft demonstrations, and several different shows of swordsmanship.
