| 2010-01-20 - What's New? |
|
Thanks for checking out our "What's New" blog. We have a few things in the works this year:
- One of History Anew's keen interests is
the early history and bushcraft of Alberta. This year,
History Anew will be developing a representation group based on the
Albertan travels of Anthony Henday. The artifacts, history, and
bushcraft of Henday as well as other nationally significant explorers
such as Samuel Hearne and Alexander Mackenzie will be the foundation
of our second representation group. We look forward to soon sharing
this fascinating provincial and national history with you!

History Anew has recently partnered up
with The Enchanted Garden to create and supply traditional
play objects for the Prairie Flower
Waldorf School store and the Edmonton Waldorf
community. Come and browse The Enchanted Garden's
selection of books, natural toys, and handcraft supplies at Avonmore School - 7835 76 Avenue, Edmonton,
AB. Hours are 12:30 – 2:30 every Tuesday and Thursday - please inquire at the Wondergarten Room (#9) for store location (store has been relocated to a different section of Avonmore School). As soon as the items are available for on-line order, History Anew will post all ordering details on our Integration Page.

A new Knife Album has been uploaded on our Antler Knives page. Please take a moment to browse the knives that Paul has made in the past year. Additionally, our busy 2009 schedule will finally be documented over the next while. Check Our Exploits 2009 page often to see events as they are posted.
Cheers!
