History Anew captivates audiences of all ages by truly bringing history to life. We create dynamic and engaging interpretive programs through conscientious research and fully accessible, historically crafted, artifacts. Embedded within all that we do is a deep respect for the knowledge, skill, and environmentally sustainable methods of the past. We strive to be a "museum" without the glass.

Dagaz - Inguz - Jera, History Anew's historical representation group, can offer the following interpretive programs:
  1. Medieval Scandinavian Firelighting (also relevant for a number of other cultures and time periods)
  2. Medieval Scandinavian Camp Cooking (absolutely no iron is used in any of our cooking demonstrations - it is authentic historical camp cooking).
  3. Medieval Scandinavian Spruceroot Basket Weaving
  4. Traditional Scandinavian Birch Bark Container Creation (both dry and water tight)
  5. The World of the Unknown in Medieval Scandinavia (focuses on the spirit and spiritual worlds)
  6. Vinland Voyages (focuses on the two primary sagas that discuss the first recorded Vinland expeditions and the navigational techniques the medieval Icelanders and Greenlanders employed).
  7. Runic Divination (Please note - this program is recommended for participants over 18 years of age, due to its divinitory nature.)
  8. Medieval Scandinavian Martial Arts

We also offer specialized interpretive programs by request:
